Rancang bangun prototipe penjamin integritas barang bukti digital berbasis Raspberry Pi dan kartu RFID

Barang bukti digital dalam sebuah tindak kejahatan dapat membantu mengungkapkan perkara kriminal yang terjadi serta memudahkan proses klarifikasi tindak kejahatan kepada pelaku. Walaupun mengungkapkan tindak kriminal dengan lebih akurat, barang bukti digital juga lebih mudah diubah. Pengubahan pada barang bukti digital ini dapat menyebabkan kesalahan interpretasi, hilangnya sebagian atau keseluruhan barang bukti digital, dan kebocoran privasi mengenai data yang ada pada barang bukti digital. Perlindungan barang bukti digital dibutuhkan untuk menghindari hal-hal tersebut.

Terdapat tiga faktor yang diperlukan dalam perlindungan barang bukti digital yang diatur dalam disiplin ilmu forensik digital, yaitu integritas, autentikasi, dan nir-repudiasi. Metode yang dapat digunakan untuk memenuhi faktor tersebut adalah hash function, digital signature, dan traceability function. Data integritas yang dihasilkan dari metode-metode tersebut juga harus diamankan. Sedangkan, penyimpanan data integritas barang bukti digital di Indonesia yang masih berbasis tulisan tangan dapat menyebabkan kerawanan pada integritas barang bukti digital yang disimpan datanya.

Pada penelitian ini, akan dilakukan pembangunan prototipe penjamin integritas barang bukti digital yang akan menyediakan data integritas barang bukti digital melalui hash function, digital signature, dan traceability function yang secara otomatis akan disimpan pada kartu RFID. Prototipe dilengkapi layanan autentikasi entitas untuk menghindari adanya pengubahan data integritas barang bukti digital. Prototipe dibangun pada sebuah single board computer Raspberry Pi 4 yang dioperasikan melalui tampilan antar muka. Pada proses pembangunan prototipe, dilakukan pengujian unit testing, integration testing, system testing, serta security testing untuk mengetahui tingkat kesesuaian prototipe yang dihasilkan. --

Digital evidence in a crime can help reveal the occured unlawfull act and ease the process of clarifying the crimes commited by the prepetrators. Digital evidence is more revealing, but it is easier to tamper. Tampering the evidence can lead to misinterpretation, deletion of the evidence, and privacy breach about the evidence. Protection of digital evidence is needed to avoid these things.

There are three factors needed in the protection of digital evidence; integrity, authentication, and non-repudiation. Methods to fulfill those needed factors are hash function, digital signature, and traceability function. Furthermore, securing the result of those methods is also needed. Meanwhile, digital evidence integrity data storage in Indonesia rely on handwriting, causing vulnerability to the integrity of digital evidence.

In this research, a prototype of digital evidence integrity guarantor will be developed which will provide integrity data through hash function, digital signature, and traceability function. Integrity data will be stored automatically on a RFID card. The prototype also provide entity authentication to avoid integrity data tampering. The prototype is built on a single board computer Raspberry Pi 4 and operated through graphical user interface. The research will include unit testing, integration testing, system testing and security testing to the prototype to determine if the prototype match the proposed design.
