Perancangan modul praktikum dan laboratorium virtual simulasi security operation center sebagai sarana pembelajaran keamanan siber

Abstrak:
Pada awal tahun 2020 hingga akhir 2021 terjadi peningkatan serangan siber sebanyak 330% serangan yang awalnya berjumlah 495.337.202 serangan menjadi 1.637.973.022 serangan. Data tersebut didapatkan dari laporan tahunan monitoring keamanan siber BSSN tahun 2020 dan 2021. Dalam menghadapi lonjakan ancaman siber yang signifikan ini, diperlukan upaya untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan keamanan siber. Salah satu solusi yang diusulkan adalah pembuatan modul praktikum dan laboratorium virtual simulasi Security Operation Center (SOC). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Design Science Research. Proses perancangan penelitian ini menggunakan pola Existing Modelling Solution dan Combining Partial Solution. Setelah proses perancangan telah dilakukan maka dilakukan development atau pembangunan. Proses development ini menghasilkan lingkungan virtual simulasi dalam bentuk virtual machine dan modul praktikum. Terdapat 4 virtual machine yang terdiri dari penyerang, target, sistem monitoring dan sistem ticketing. Validasi terhadap penelitian ini menggunakan User Acceptance Test. Uji validasi dilakukan terhadap beberapa taruna yang ada pada Politeknik Siber dan Sandi Negara (PoltekSSN). Berdasarkan uji validasi dengan skala likert yang telah dilakukan terdapat persentase 93% hal ini menunjukkan tingkat penerimaan dari penelitian ini sangat setuju dan dapat dijadikan sebagai modul pembelajaran. Laboratorium SOC ini selanjutnya dimanfaatkan sebagai sarana pembelajaran bagi taruna Poltek SSN dalam meningkatkan keterampilan dalam mengidentifikasi, menganalisis, dan menyelesaikan masalah keamanan siber terutama dalam pemahaman konsep SOC.
Abstract:
At the beginning of 2020 until the end of 2021, there was a significant surge in cyberattacks, with the number of attacks rising by 330%. Initially, there were 495,337,202 attacks, but this number surged to 1,637,973,022 attacks. This data was obtained from the annual cybersecurity monitoring report by BSSN for the years 2020 and 2021. In response to this substantial increase in cyber threats, there is an urgent need to enhance cybersecurity understanding and skills. One proposed solution is the development of practical modules and a virtual laboratory for Simulated Security Operation Center (SOC). The research methodology employed is Design Science Research. The research design process utilized a combination of the Existing Modelling Solution and Combining Partial Solution patterns. After completing the design process, the development phase followed, resulting in a virtual simulation environment in the form of virtual machines and practical modules. This environment comprises four virtual machines, including an attacker, a target, a monitoring system, and a ticketing system. Validation of this research was conducted through User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The validation tests were administered to several cadets at Politeknik Siber dan Sandi Negara (PoltekSSN). Based on the Likert scale validation with a 93% approval rate, it indicates that this research has been highly accepted and can be utilized as a learning module. Subsequently, the SOC laboratory is utilized as a learning facility for Poltek SSN cadets to enhance their skills in identifying, analyzing, and resolving cybersecurity issues, particularly in understanding the SOC concept.
