Rancang bangun perangkat kendali akses berbasis deteksi wajah mediapipe dan pengenalan wajah local binary pattern histogram pada ruang workshop perangkat keras Poltek SSN

Abstrak:
Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menyediakan solusi yang lebih baik dalam pengamanan aset Ruang Workshop Perangkat Keras Poltek SSN yang telah dilakukan pada penelitian sebelumnya, yaitu berbasis kendali akses deteksi dan pengenalan wajah berbasis Viola-Jones dan Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH). Tahapan penelitian yang digunakan mencakup perencanaan, analisis, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian sistem pengenalan wajah dengan Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, LCD 7-inch, Micro Servo, dan 1080P Full-HD Webcam. Pada penelitian digunakan metode deteksi wajah MediaPipe dan pengenalan wajah LBPH. Pengujian yang dilakukan meliputi pengujian akurasi sistem, kecepatan sistem, performa sistem dalam autentikasi user. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa akurasi sistem di Ruang Workshop sebesar 66% dengan threshold 68. Berdasarkan pengujian yang telah dilakukan, kecepatan rata-rata sistem dalam proses user login pada saat mendeteksi wajah yaitu selama 0,21084187 detik, sedangkan rata-rata waktu yang dibutuhkan dalam proses pengenalan wajah dibutuhkan 0,10627813 detik. Penelitian ini juga membandingkan performa sistem dengan perangkat kendali akses serupa berbasis Viola-Jones dan LBPH yang mengindikasikan bahwa pengenalan wajah menggunakan MediaPipe dan LBPH memiliki kecepatan dan akurasi lebih baik dibandingkan dengan Viola-Jones dan LBPH dengan akurasi sebesar 58% dengan threshold 59.

Abstract:
This research aims to provide an improved solution for securing the assets of the Hardware Device Workshop Room at Poltek SSN, building upon previous research based on access control through Viola-Jones and Local Binary Pattern Histogram (LBPH) face detection and recognition. The research phases encompass planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing of a facial recognition system employing Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, a 7-inch LCD, Micro Servo, and a 1080P Full-HD Webcam. The study utilizes the MediaPipe face detection method and LBPH for face recognition. Evaluation consists of testing system accuracy, speed, and user authentication performance. The test results reveal that the system achieved an accuracy rate of 66% in the Workshop Room with a threshold of 68. Based on the conducted tests, the average system speed for user login during face detection was 0.21084187 seconds, while the average time required for face recognition was 0.10627813 seconds. Furthermore, a comparative analysis was conducted between this system and similar access control devices based on Viola-Jones and LBPH, indicating that facial recognition using MediaPipe and LBPH outperforms Viola-Jones and LBPH with an accuracy rate of 58% and a threshold of 59.
