Implementasi algoritme snow pada sistem komunikasi voip berbasis Raspberry Pi

Abstrak:
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) merupakan salah satu teknologi komunikasi. Penggunaan VoIP memiliki keuntungan yaitu dapat menggunakan WiFi, praktis, mudah diinstall dan tidak memotong pulsa regular. Terlepas dari keuntungan tersebut penggunaan VoIP memiliki ancaman salah satunya berupa penyadapan (sniffing). Oleh karena itu, perlu diterapkan layanan keamanan pada komunikasi VoIP, salah satunya menggunakan VPN-SSL. VPN-SSL menggunakan cipher suite yang berisi kumpulan algoritme kriptografi yang menyediakan berbagai layanan kriptografi. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan implementasi algoritme SNOW 3G sebagai alternatif TLS cipher suite pada Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ dengan menggunakan aplikasi OpenSSL dan OpenVPN yang telah dimodifikasi. Selanjutnya hasil implementasi TLS cipher suites digunakan dan diuji untuk mengamankan komunikasi VoIP. Pengujian yang dilakukan yaitu komunikasi menggunakan OpenVPN dan perhitungan nilai QoS. Hasil yang didapat pada pengujian komunikasi menggunakan OpenVPN adalah data yang dikirim antara client ke client telah terenkripsi. Hasil perhitungan QoS menunjukan bahwa nilai delay terbesar didapatkan saat komunikasi menggunakan OpenVPN dan terdapat penghalang sebesar 21,083 ms, untuk delay terkecil didapat saat komunikasi tanpa OpenVPN dan tanpa penghalang sebesar 19,116 ms. Nilai jitter terbesar didapatkan saat komunikasi menggunakan OpenVPN dan terdapat penghalang sebesar 5,258 ms, untuk jitter terkecil didapat saat komunikasi tanpa OpenVPN dan tanpa penghalang sebesar 3,814 ms. Nilai throughput terbesar didapatkan saat komunikasi tanpa OpenVPN dan tanpa penghalang sebesar 211,3 Kbps, untuk throughput terkecil didapat saat komunikasi menggunakan OpenVPN dan terdapat penghalang sebesar 185,3 Kbps. Nilai packet loss yang didapat dari keempat pengujian adalah sama yaitu 0%.

Abstract:
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is one of the communication technologies. The use of VoIP has advantages, such as the ability to use WiFi, practicality, easy installation, and no deduction from regular mobile credits. Despite these advantages, the use of VoIP comes with threats, one of which is eavesdropping (sniffing). Therefore, security services need to be implemented for VoIP communication, and one of the solutions is using VPN-SSL. VPN-SSL utilizes a cipher suite containing a collection of cryptographic algorithms that provide various cryptographic services. In this research, the implementation of the SNOW 3G algorithm is conducted as an alternative TLS cipher suite on the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. This is achieved by using the modified OpenSSL and OpenVPN applications. Subsequently, the results of the implemented TLS cipher suites are utilized and tested to secure VoIP communication. The testing involves communication using OpenVPN and Quality of Service (QoS) value calculations. The results of the communication test using OpenVPN show that the data transmitted between clients has been encrypted. The QoS calculation results indicate that the highest delay value is obtained during communication using OpenVPN, with an obstacle of 21,083 ms. The smallest delay value is obtained during communication without OpenVPN and without any obstacles, amounting to 19,116 ms. The largest jitter value is observed during communication using OpenVPN, with an obstacle of 5,258 ms. The smallest jitter value is obtained during communication without OpenVPN and without any obstacles, amounting to 3,814 ms. The highest throughput value is obtained during communication without OpenVPN and without any obstacles, reaching 211,3 Kbps. The smallest throughput value is obtained during communication using OpenVPN, with an obstacle of 185,3 Kbps. The packet loss value obtained from all four tests is consistent, at 0%.
