Modifikasi key establishment protokol ET SRT menggunakan skema Sharma-Krishna dalam komunikasi grup

Abstrak:
Protokol terdistribusi merupakan salah satu protokol manajemen kunci grup yang setiap anggotanya bertanggung jawab untuk menghasilkan kunci grup. Protokol ET SRT merupakan salah satu protokol terdistribusi yang menerapkan skema pohon biner berbasis Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman (ECDH) pada proses penetapan kunci grup. Protokol ET SRT juga menerapkan sifat asynchronous dalam penetapan kunci grup. Hal ini membuat setiap anggota grup dapat saling menghitung kunci grup meskipun terdapat anggota yang offline. Setiap perubahan anggota grup membutuhkan kolaborasi antar anggota untuk membagikan kunci grup. Hal ini menyebabkan kompleksitasnya tinggi sehingga waktu yang dibutuhkan semakin lama. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan modifikasi key establishment pada protokol ET SRT menggunakan skema Sharma-Krishna pada proses bergabung dan keluar grup. Hasil analisis dari modifikasi key establishment protokol dari segi keamanan yaitu memenuhi aspek protokol secure messaging. Selain itu juga memenuhi aspek keamanan protokol komunikasi grup dilihat dari proses bergabung dan keluar grup. Namun, tidak memenuhi aspek computational equality dan trust equality pada proses inisialisasi kunci grup. Analisis efisiensi hasil modifikasi protokol ET SRT menggunakan skema Sharma-Krishna lebih efisien dikarenakan durasi eksekusinya lebih cepat daripada menggunakan protokol ET SRT. Adanya modifikasi protokol ET SRT menggunakan skema Sharma-Krishna dapat mengurangi nilai kompleksitas waktu yang tadinya pada protokol ET SRT saat bergabung dan keluar grup sebesar O(log n) menjadi O(1).

Abstract:
A distributed protocol is one of the group key management protocols where each member is responsible for generating group keys. The ET SRT protocol is one of the distributed protocols that implements an Elliptic Curve Diffie Hellman (ECDH) based binary tree scheme in the group key assignment process. The ET SRT protocol also applies asynchronous properties in determining group keys. This allows any group member to compute the group key even though there are offline. Member any change in group members requires collaboration between members to share the group key. This causes high complexity, so that the time required is getting longer. In this study, the ET SRT protocol was modified using the Sharma-Krishna scheme in the process of joining and leaving the group.
In terms of security, the protocol modification results satisfy the secure messaging protocol aspects, including confidentiality, authenticity, integrity, non-repudiation, forward secrecy, backward secrecy, and synchronization, and satisfy the group chat protocol, including computational equality, trust equality, subgroup messaging, contractible membership, and expandable membership. The efficiency analysis of the modified ET SRT protocol result using the Sharma-Krishna scheme is more efficient because the execution duration is faster than using the ET SRT protocol. The modification of the ET SRT protocol using the Sharma-Krishna scheme can reduce the time complexity in the process of joining and leaving the group from O(log n) to O(1).
