Penerapan model Digital Evidence Object (DEO) dengan pemrograman Python untuk reduksi bukti digital pada penyimpanan internal Smartphone berbasis Android OS

Android OS merupakan sistem operasi yang paling banyak digunakan pada smartphone. Pertukaran informasi atau aktivitas ilegal dapat dilakukan dengan mudah menggunakan aplikasi dan fitur yang tersedia di dalamnya. Hal tersebut menjadikan Android OS sebagai gudang informasi yang besar karena banyaknya informasi yang dihasilkan oleh aplikasi dan fitur yang ada di dalamnya. Peran mobile forensic dalam investigasi forensik digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengetahui informasi yang tersimpan serta menyediakan bukti valid secara ilmiah mengenai suatu tindak kejahatan yang menggunakan perangkat mobile sebagai medianya. Kegiatan tersebut dilakukan melalui proses identifikasi dan preservasi bukti elektronik, ekstraksi informasi, pemeriksaan dan analisis informasi serta penyajian bukti yang ditemukan. Proses ekstraksi informasi pada penyimpanan internal smartphone berbasis Android OS akan menghasilkan dataset dengan ukuran yang sangat besar dan kompleks. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan Model DEO dengan pemrograman Python dalam penelitian ini digunakan untuk membantu proses investigasi forensik terhadap smartphone berbasis Android OS dalam melakukan reduksi bukti digital. Hasilnya, Model DEO mampu mengurangi jumlah bukti digital yang diperoleh menjadi jumlah yang lebih sedikit untuk dianalisis dan menghasilkan nilai False Positive Rate yang sangat kecil, sehingga mempercepat proses berlangsungnya investigasi forensik terhadap perangkat mobile. --

Android OS is the most widely used operating system on smartphones. Exchange of information or illegal activities can be done easily using the application and the features available in it. This makes Android OS a large repository of information because of the large amount of information generated by the application and the features in it. The role of mobile forensics in forensic investigations is used to identify and find out stored information and provide scientifically valid evidence about a crime that uses a mobile device as a medium. These activities are carried out through the identification and preservation of electronic evidence, information extraction, examination and analysis of information and presentation of the evidence found. The process of extracting information on the internal storage of a Android OS-based smartphone will produce a dataset with a very large and complex size. Therefore, the use of the DEO Model with Python programming in this study is used to assist the forensic investigation process on Android OS-based smartphones in reducing digital evidence. As a result, the DEO Model is able to reduce the amount of digital evidence obtained to a smaller amount for analysis and produces a very small False Positive Rate value, thus speeding up the process of forensic investigations on mobile devices.
