Rancang bangun prototipe asset tracking system berbasis LoRa dengan implementasi kriptografi menggunakan algoritma AES-256

Pada umumnya organisasi memiliki aset fisik yang penting dan berharga dimana terdapat risiko pencurian terhadapnya. Untuk membantu pemilik aset melakukan respon cepat dalam mencegah pencurian, maka dibutuhkan Asset Tracking System yang dapat mendeteksi pencurian aset fisik dan dapat melacak posisi aset secara real-time dengan menggunakan komunikasi secara aman. Prototipe yang dirancang bangun terdiri dari perangkat transmitter yang ditempatkan pada aset yang diamankan pada tempat penyimpanan aset dan perangkat receiver yang ditempatkan pada tempat monitoring. Komunikasi antara transmitter dan receiver berbasis LoRa dengan frekuensi kerja 920-923 MHz dengan implementasi kriptografi menggunakan algoritma AES-256 untuk mengamankan dari serangan Eavesdropper yang mengancam kerahasiaan data (confidentiality). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) dengan pendekatan Waterfall Development. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu sistem dapat mendeteksi pencurian dengan akurasi 100% pada jarak 28,38 meter hingga putusnya komunikasi. Kemudian jarak efektif sistem dalam melacak aset (transmitter) adalah lebih dari 10,22 kilometer pada kondisi LOS, 400 meter pada NLOS dengan halangan pepohonan, dan 350 meter pada kondisi NLOS dengan halangan bangunan, serta komunikasi yang dijalankan aman dari serangan Eavesdropper. Dengan demikian sistem yang dirancang bangun dapat mendeteksi adanya pencurian pada aset dan mengamankan komunikasi yang terjadi antara transmitter dan receiver. --

Organizations generally have important and valuable physical assets for which there is a risk of theft. To help asset owners respond quickly in preventing theft, an Asset Tracking System is needed to detect the theft of physical assets and track asset positions in real-time using secure communication. The designed prototype consists of a transmitter device that is placed in an asset that is secured in an asset storage area and a receiver device that is placed in a monitoring area. Communication between transmitter and receiver based on LoRa with a working frequency of 920-923 MHz with cryptographic implementation using the AES-256 algorithm to secure from eavesdropper attacks that threaten data confidentiality (confidentiality). The research method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall Development approach. The results obtained are that the system can detect theft with 100% accuracy at a distance of 28.38 meters until communication breaks. Then the effective distance of the system in tracking assets (transmitter) is more than 10.22 kilometres in LOS conditions, 400 meters in NLOS with tree obstructions, and 350 meters in NLOS conditions with building obstructions, as well as communications that are run safely from Eavesdropper attacks. Thus the system that is designed and built can detect the theft of assets and secure the communication that occurs between the transmitter and receiver.
