Forensik Digital Aplikasi Facebook Messenger pada Smartphone Berbasis Android Berdasarkan NIST SP 800-101 R1 untuk Mengungkap Kasus Kejahatan Digital

Abstrak:
Forensik digital merupakan penerapan ilmu pengetahuan dalam melakukan identifikasi, pengumpulan, pemeriksaan, dan analisis data dengan menjaga integritas informasi data untuk memperoleh bukti digital yang digunakan pelaku yang berguna dalam penegakan hukum dalam pengungkapan kasus kejahatan di pengadilan. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan proses forensik digital pada aplikasi komunikasi Facebook Messenger berbasis Android. Proses forensik digital perlu dilakukan karena kemudahan teknologi komunikasi menimbulkan tindak kejahatan digital salah satunya penipuan transaksi online. Transaksi online atau perdagangan melalui sistem elektronik yaitu perdagangan yang proses transaksinya dilakukan dengan serangkaian perangkat dan prosedur elektronik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan rekayasa pengujian berupa tiga skenario penghapusan data percakapan antara pelaku dengan korban dan tiga variabel barang bukti foto yang dikirimkan oleh pelaku kejahatan digital. Rekayasa pengujian tersebut dilakukan proses forensik digital menggunakan pedoman NIST SP 800-101 R1. Hasil forensik digital yang didapatkan yaitu pada skenario 1 diperoleh seluruh bukti digital. Selanjutnya, untuk skenario 2 masih ditemukan package aplikasi Facebook Messenger, namun tidak terdapat barang bukti digital yang ditemukan. Kemudian dalam skenaraio 3 tidak terdapat package aplikasi Facebook Messenger sehingga tidak ditemukan barang bukti digital yang dikirimkan oleh pelaku kejahatan. Kemudian pada barang bukti digital yang ditemukan pada skenario 1 diperoleh informasi bahwa pelaku kejahatan melakukan proses cloning object dan diperoleh juga informasi terkait metadata serta geo tags dalam barang bukti digital.
Abstract:
Digital forensics is the application of science in identifying, collecting, examining, and analyzing data by maintaining the integrity of data information to obtain digital evidence used by perpetrators that is useful in law enforcement in disclosing crime cases in court. In this study, a digital forensic process was carried out on the Android-based Facebook Messenger communication application. The digital forensic process needs to be carried out because the ease of communication technology has led to digital crimes, one of which is online transaction fraud. Online transactions or trade through electronic systems are trades whose transaction processes are carried out with a series of electronic devices and procedures. This research was conducted with test engineering in the form of three scenarios of deleting conversation data between the perpetrator and the victim and three variables of photo evidence sent by digital criminals. The test engineering is carried out by a digital forensic process using the NIST SP 800-101 R1 guidelines. The digital forensic results obtained are that in the first scenario, all digital evidence is obtained. Furthermore, for scenario 2, a Facebook Messenger application package was still found, but no digital evidence was discovered. Then, in scenario 3, there was no Facebook Messenger application package found, therefore no digital evidence of the crime committed by the perpetrator was found. Furthermore, in the digital evidence found in scenario 1, it was revealed that the perpetrator carried out an object cloning process, and information related to metadata and geo-tags within the digital evidence was also obtained.
