Perbandingan Mobile Forensic Tools pada Smartphone Berbasis Android Menggunakan NIST (Studi Kasus Penipuan E-Commerce)

Abstrak:
Smartphone android merupakan perangkat portable yang dapat melakukan pekerjaan menyerupai komputer, semakin meningkatnya penggunaan smartphone android menimbulkan banyak ancaman yang berkaitan dengan tindak kejahatan. Tidak sedikit para pelaku kejahatan yang berusaha menghilangkan bukti kejahatan untuk menghindari jeratan hukum yang dapat
memberatkan dengan adanya bukti digital. Untuk mengumpulkan bukti terkait kejahatan yang melibatkan smartphone, penyidik perlu melakukan mobile forensic. Namun kurangnya sumber daya teknologi mobile forensic dan tools forensic menjadi salah satu tantangan pada bidang mobile forensic, untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah dengan melakukan analisis komparatif tools forensic yang ada. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis komparatif mobile
forensic tools pada Mobiledit Forensic, Magnet Axiom, dan Belkasoft Evidence Center dalam kondisi perangkat non-root dan root menggunakan standar NIST SP 800-101 untuk mengetahui kemampuan serta ketersediaan masing-masing tools forensik. Hasil dari penelitian yang dilakukan yaitu Magnet Axiom didapatkan paling komprehensif untuk memperoleh data yang sudah ditentukan dalam kondisi perangkat non-root dan root. Untuk Magnet Axiom dan Belkasoft Evidence Center dinyatakan paling akurat untuk menghasilkan output yang terverifikasi karena mampu memperoleh gambar sesuai dengan skenario yang dijalankan dalam
penelitian.
Abstract:
Android smartphones are portable devices that can do jobs similar to computers, the increasing use of Android smartphones poses many threats related to crime. Not a few criminals try to eliminate evidence of crime to avoid prosecution which can be burdensome with digital evidence. To collect evidence related to crimes involving smartphones, investigators need to conduct mobile forensics. However, the lack of mobile forensic technology resources and forensic tools is one of the challenges in the mobile forensic field, to overcome these problems is to carry out a comparative analysis of existing forensic tools. In this study, a comparative analysis of mobile forensic tools was carried out on Mobiledit Forensic, Magnet Axiom, and Belkasoft Evidence Center on non-rooted and rooted devices using the NIST SP 800-101
standard to determine the capabilities and availability of each forensic tool. The results of the research conducted, namely Magnet Axiom, were found to be the most comprehensive for obtaining predetermined data in non-root and root device conditions. For Magnet Axiom and Belkasoft Evidence Center it is said to be the most accurate in producing verified output because they are able to obtain images according to the scenarios carried out in the research.
