IMPLEMENTATION OF TWO FACTOR AUTHENTICATION BASED ON RFID AND FACE RECOGNITION USING THE LOCAL BINARY PATTERN ALGORITHM IN THE PROTOTYPE OF ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
Using one-factor authentication in an access control system can create security problems. The application of RFID and face recognition can be a solution to the problem of one-factor-based access control systems. However, there are weaknesses in the face recognition system in the form of a face spoofing attack. In this study, two authentication factors in the form of RFID and face recognition as well as Local Binary Patterns (LBP) algorithm were implemented in the prototype of access control system. Based on the results of performance tests, the prototype of the access control system has an accuracy rate of 100% RFID authentication and a face recognition of 80%. The average RFID authentication time is 0.03 seconds, the face recognition is 6.3885 seconds and the verification of the face recognition is 0.1970 seconds. The results of the prototype acceptance based on the results of the user acceptance tests reached 81.25% as user, 100% as administrator and 100% as super administrator. The prototype can still function optimally after three days uses without being switched off. From the security test results obtained, the ability for spoofing detection of photo attacks reaches 100%.
